Stefan Hartmann is German/American national raised by holistic parents where things such as Chinese Medicine, Tai-Chi and holistic approaches to healing were the mainstay. Stefan to this day has never been given an antibiotic and was not vaccinated until he had to go to university.

Since age seven he has trained in competitive tennis and competed for 8 years in European junior circuits. He moved to Florida at age 15 and continued on the USTA junior and men’s pro circuit. He has been a tennis coach since age 15 and has coached three high school tennis teams.

He attended the University of Central Florida where he brought the Club Tennis team to National Championships twice while working as an Emergency Department Scribe with the goal of practicing medicine one day. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Sports & Exercise Science in 2015. He continued working full time in the ER and immediately began work as a Master Trainer at LA Fitness. There he helped clients of all ages and abilities achieve their fitness goals through one-on-one personal training.

He then moved to Massachusetts and completed the Physician Assistant Program at Bay Path University 2016-2018. Since graduating he has worked in urgent care, internal medicine, spine surgery, interventional pain management, family medicine and psychiatry.

His various medical specialty experiences, background in sports & exercise science and relentless desire to understand how to achieve maximum vitality through nutrition, anti-aging medicine, biohacking and more has given him a unique perspective into the human condition.

Patients deserve someone who will try to understand root cause and not just push a pill. Patients need someone who is in their corner focused on their health and studying their unique situation to create a plan to improve their life, and not just treat symptoms.

 Stefan constantly reads the research and leads Iron DPC with the latest data, theories, tips and studies so he can help you can make the right changes to reverse chronic disease and maximize longevity. He provides routine CME lectures for various academic groups and his YouTube and Rumble channel has hours of the latest literature summaries freely available. His protocols guide treatment plans for Iron DPC providers.

Stefan is an advocate for medical freedom and has been on the frontlines treating covid since patient zero in Florida. He developed the early treatment protocol for covid-19 even before the FLCCC was created and has treated thousands of patients with the protocol over the years.

Logan Cahoon
MPAS, PA-C
 

Logan was born and raised in Melbourne and has a background in acute care medicine.  She completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Florida where she received a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.  After graduating from USF, she left the US to spend a year living overseas doing humanitarian work in 11 different countries. After completing humanitarian work overseas, she completed her medical education at Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating at the top of her class.  In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, tennis, exercising, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family. She is certified in Aesthetics: Botox & Filler and is leading the Aesthetics arm of the practice and sees patients interested in cosmetic procedures. She also maintains the nutrition blog at Iron DPC.

Jason Walsh, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

Jason Walsh, FNP-C licensed in Florida. He sees pediatrics and adults both in office and via telemedicine.

 

Jason received his master's degree from the University of Tampa. He has experience working in multiple healthcare systems; family medicine, pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, psychiatric care, Creighton Model family planning and fertility care and on the front lines during Covid. He is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society at the University of South Florida & University of Tampa Chapter.

 

Jason works diligently to develop a meaningful relationship with his patients to help them achieve optimal health and wellness and to help heal the root cause of disease with an ambitious focus on disease prevention. Incorporating strategies and philosophies of care using the FLCCC protocols to prevent and treat Covid-19, influenza and other common illnesses is a mainstay of practice. Correcting and maintaining hormone health, thyroid function and healing the gut, which houses much of the body’s immune system, are crucial components to achieving longevity and quality of life. 

 

Jason believes that the human person is created in the image of God and that each person consists of mind, body and spirit and to achieve optimal healing, the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of a patient needs attended to. 

He also believes that a significant degree of wellness can be achieved and maintained, through well thought out healthy dietary choices, appropriate supplemental replacement and by incorporating exercise planning into one's daily routine. 

 

Outside of work Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, exploring nature, surfing, tennis, exercising, attending sporting events and practicing Ju Jitsu. Growing professionally is a priority. He is a member of the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, The Catholic Medical Association and has an interest in the legislative aspects of healthcare and he regularly attends conferences and weekly lectures to further his knowledge base in the field of functional medicine.

 

In the state of Florida Jason Walsh is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed to practice autonomously in Primary Care, which includes family medicine, general pediatrics and general internal medicine. As such, there is no requirement to have a protocol physician when licensed to practice autonomously in the state of Florida. 

Meet Lauren Gillespy, PA-C, MSPAS, Physician Associate at Iron DPC.

We are excited to introduce Lauren Gillespy, PA-C, MSPAS, a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Associate who has joined the Iron Direct Primary Care team to meet the huge demand in Brevard for our style of medicine. She is committed to delivering personalized, patient-centered care that aligns with our mission to address the root causes of illness and empower patients to lead healthier, more vibrant lives through functional medicine.

Professional Background
Lauren brings a strong foundation in functional medicine and emergency medicine to our practice. She has experience in comprehensive patient assessments, integrating functional medicine principles to treat conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, hormone imbalances, and weight management using hormone optimization therapy, peptide therapy, and longevity supplementation. She has also has experience in medical aesthetics, focusing on regenerative therapies. Additionally, Lauren has extensive experience in emergency medicine, where she managed critical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, severe abdominal pain, and diabetic emergencies. She independently performed procedures like suturing wounds, draining infections, aspirating joints for diagnostic purposes, and treating burns, while also interpreting lab results, imaging studies, and heart rhythm tests.

Special Interest in Women’s Hormones
Lauren has a deep passion for women’s health, with a particular focus on hormone optimization. She specializes in helping women navigate challenges like polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause, and other hormonal imbalances, using an integrative approach to restore balance, improve energy, and enhance overall well-being. Her experience with therapies such as peptide therapy allows her to offer innovative, personalized solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Education and Credentials
Lauren earned her Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA (2021), graduating with honors and receiving the Class Leadership Award. Her clinical training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a Level I trauma center, provided extensive hands-on experience in various procedures. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Summa Cum Laude honors from Middle Tennessee State University (2015).

She is NCCPA Board Certified (2021), holds a Florida Physician Associate License (2021), and is certified in Functional Medicine (2024). Lauren is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Associates (FAPA) and American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
